How it all began
We met in New York and quickly realised we go together like coffee and cookies. Our passion for New York style cookies inspired us to create our own. We call them Berlin Style Cookies.

Do you offer personalised cookies for events?
Yes, we're happy to help you find the perfect solution if you're planning an event or want to surprise your colleagues. Just get in touch by e-mail at info@derkeks.berlin or by phone on 0151 42322506, and we'll sort out the rest!
Do you bake your cookies yourselves?
Yes, all of our cookies are baked fresh every day in our own bakery in Berlin-Lichtenberg, with lots of love and dedication. We use high-quality, regional ingredients to guarantee the best taste – always with a clear focus on quality and craftsmanship.
How do you come up with new cookie creations?
Our owner Marco, who is also our master baker, brings valuable ideas to the development of new cookies from his many years of experience. Our customers’ wishes and ideas inspire us again and again to create new, creative treats, too. Talking to our customers is a valuable source of inspiration for us!
Do you have vegan and gluten-free options?
People with different dietary needs can also find something they like here. We currently offer five different vegan cookies. We also have our Chocolate Chip cookie, made with a special flour blend of oats, buckwheat, and corn, as well as a chocolate cookie sweetened exclusively with date sugar. Since we bake all our cookies in the same bakery using shared equipment, we cannot rule out the possibility of accidental cross-contamination with gluten or other allergens. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that our products are free of gluten or other allergens. If you have any questions about the ingredients or specific varieties, please feel free to contact us – we’re happy to tell you about the ingredients at any time.
How long do your cookies keep?
Our cookies stay fresh and delicious for 7 days after shipping (if you collect them: 7 days from collection). It is best to keep them airtight in a cool, dry place so they keep their soft texture. If you want to keep them longer, you can also freeze them – that way they stay fresh for several months.
Can I pre-order my cookies, or do you ship as well?
Yes, both! In our online shop you put together boxes of your favourite cookies and either collect them on a day of your choice from our shop on Sredzkistraße or have them sent by post – anywhere in Germany. We ship Monday to Wednesday so your cookies are not in transit over the weekend.
